So just what exactly is Timebanking?

Timebanking is an exchange of skills with no money involved.  It is perfect for the community in this current economic climate because it involves exchange of time and skills instead of monetary payments.  Everyone has a skill which could be exchanged, from a dog walker to a teacher of languages, from a gardening to adult literacy and even just being a good listener.

Of course we cant offer to paint your housefront but we could paint your gate or put up a shelf.

Interested?  It's a brilliant idea and has been successfully implemented in many areas around Scotland including Castlemilk which has over 800 members.

So GET UP AND GET GOING and lets make this brilliant idea a part of Barrhead and Neilston's Community rejuvination and learn a skill while were doing it
